Durban Point Development Company Pty) Ltd ("DPDC") wishes to draw the attention of members of the general public to the prevalence of fraudulent activity being perpetuated by fraudsters who aim to deceive and defraud the general public by using DPDC's name, its logo and address. The aforesaid are being used in attempts to defraud the public through false correspondence relating to holiday lettings, accommodations and apartment rentals.
It has also come to our attention that scammers are supplying the public with false, unscrupulous, and misleading information about our non-existent business and false products through email, fake invoices, letters, text messages, facsimile, or by using a website claiming to be that of DPDC. Please be advised that DPDC does not offer holiday lettings, accommodations or apartment rentals to the general public as that is not DPDC's nature of business.
DPDC strongly cautions the public against providing personal information, sending cash or disclosing bank details to any person claiming to represent DPDC or to have a relationship with DPDC. DPDC shall not be held liable for any casualties, damage, or loss of money resulting from any negligence by the public.
